The primary goal of the UCP IP office was to integrate and upgrade IP infrastructure in order to improve the system. UCP established an Intellectual Property (IP) Office for IP management, where inventions are evaluated for commercial potential and Intellectual Property applications are drafted and filed. In addition, the researches have been evaluated.
